I shall soon be the proud owner of a 2010(10) 2.0Ltr TDCI 140 BHP Ford Mondeo Titanium in Panther Black. Complete with "sports pack" (which is basically just 18" alloys instead of 17" and a slightly different body styling - it was what was available and ticked the boxes), rear parking sensors and less than 22k on the clock at a VERY reasonable price. Winner.

I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas. Won't be able to pick it up until next weekend! Argh!

Oh a nice big boot to get some more mizzies in!

That was the pre-requisite for any car we would have bought! The inside space of the Mondeo is absolutely ridiculous. It feels like I'm driving a living room! I love it!

So you got one in the end.

Thought you might have tried a Mini :D

:D

I did try and convince HID that it's "bigger than it looks" by telling her what you got in there. She was having none of it! :D

And we couldn't really refuse at the price we were offered.

Good choice.

We've had ours for over a year now and it's a really good car and, like you say, massive inside!

We were looking at 4x4 or estate cars for boot space with all the baby stuff we had until we came across it.

Hopefully you like it as much as I do ours!

Come on then... what did you pay :D

The Titanium x is what we have been looking at recently. Lovely cars. Very spacious.

£12500 which includes a year's tax.

The local Ford Main Dealer said they couldn't get anywhere near that price for the spec. Reet chuffed.

The Titanium X was the one we looked at but was just out of budget. This comes with parking sensors, so the only thing it doesn't have that the X does is the half leather/alacantra seats and the "Ford Power" button so I'm happy. The leather/alacantra would have been a nice touch but not essential.

Very nice car, a tad better than the 58 plate Fiest TDCi I've just got, needs must.

I miss having big cars, but must admit, this little one is quite fun at the minute!

The fiesta's are great looking cars. Just a shame they're so tiny!

I assume we will be getting a daily update until it arrives, like when you bought your Mizzies ? :D :D :D

Our two cars are 17 and 13 years old, so not really up to date with new cars :( Sounds good though, and being black you will have a nice cleaning job every weekend. ;)

Nice car Aztec.......I replaced my "hairdressers" car last week.......got fed up of having to stop at every garage to fill up!!

Treated myself to a nice new BMW M Sport Coupe with some nice toys.....loving it......was like a kid in a sweet shop when I picked it up Thursday morning. :D

Had a Mondeo before my current car. Owned a 2.0 TDCi Ghia. Lovely motor, absolutely mahooosive boot. Full bag, shoe bag, electric trolley and battery absolutely swallowed easily.
Used to pick a golf mate up regularly and it took both my gear and his (including leccy trolley easily.

Enjoy it mate, they're bloody good cars!

I have no idea what you're on about :(

Yea, the black thing is a bit of a tricky one, but buying a used car, you can't be picky. Especially at the price we're paying.

But it also means that although it's a nightmare to keep clean, it will be easier to re-spray/touch up when HIS inevitably drives into something! :D
