NEW Callaway opportunity

Is there the opportunity to actually play a round of Golf? The way I read it, is it's a demo day with free lunch with the odd challenge to take part in. No mention of any rounds of golf etc.
demo, clinics, skills challenges, no time for a round of golf I'm afraid

Another great opportunity Mike , i thought more would be onto this in a flash ..

Good Luck to all , enjoy your day

If I could get the time off I would have gone just to see the famous clubhouse in the flesh and get a few photos (Big fan of Goldfinger and Layer cake).

Like wise for me. Got a free round there a couple of years ago and loved the place. The greens at that time were some of the best I played on all year and considering it was soaking wet they were spot on. Unfortunately work will stop me getting there. Really wish that GM would phone me to discuss my availability before coming out with all these offers. :) Maybe next time. Good luck all those that enter.

What time will it finish Mike? If anyone fancies a round nearby afterwards time and energy permitting I'm up for it,off course depending on whether I am one of the chosen few.

Ha Ha I like the way hardly any forumer's can make this one

I wonder if everyone would have been so busy if there had been a free set of irons on offer

Little bit surprised myself especially with it being called "Kings of Distance". Surely with some of the yardages claimed on here a forummer is guaranteed to win. :) And no-one knows what the "great prizes" Mike mentioned could be. A full Callaway fitting opportunity? Ryder Cup/Open tickets? Free golf at top courses? A sleeve of Callaway balls?

Back at work on the 6th (and no holiday during term time) and with it being an hour away there is no way I can make it. Hope you get the full compliment Mike as it looks like a great day to demo all the kit in a slightly different environment than the usual home golf club scenario.

Big assumption that everyone who applies posts their intention....

Indeed.

Anyhoo, if some people feel happy knowing, here's a few clues,

Not far from me,
Sounds like a fantastic day,
I use Callaway woods,
No work commitments that day.
Will not be booking any work commitments that day.

;)

Sounds like a fun day. Not sure if I've shot myself in the foot or not but I didn't put my forum name on my entry.

My knee should be 100% by then so hoping to knock a few past Joe if lucky enough to be selected!!

I just got an email saying "your invite to Kings of distance" and thought, as you would, that I've nailed an invite! opened it up and its just an invite to enter the comp as I'm subscriber too. If I get another chance to enter cos I have Callaway irons I wonder ...... should I send 3 entries??

Hahaha, I thought the same when I just looked at my e-mails...... :)

Just got that too - having applied I was rather disappointed!

There's hope yet. I've a mate who's interested too - and he's a big hitter. King of Distance right there, I tells ya' - 450 yards forum distance at least!
