Well new to me anyway.
After reading many posts on here about lovely shiney brand new clubs having been bought, I want to share with you that I am now the proud owner of a used but good condition Callaway Big Bertha Titanium 454 13Deg Driver.
Now, I'm new to golf so I have no idea if the club will suit me, but it was a cheap impulse buy off eBay and I can't wait to go to the range and try it out. I was told by my 4Hcp mate who passed his Ping G2 10.5Deg on to me that it was probably too low a loft angle for me, so I'll see how this one differs.
I think I can safely say that I've got the bug, but I'm very concious that I don't want to go buying all the flash gear before I have any idea, for the main reason that my wife will skin me alive. But in the past 4 months I've managed to buy/acquire a full set of Mizuno irons, 3 x Drivers, 2 x Woods, Putter, Bag + extras, 24 new balls, approx 200 used balls, signed GMac flag (thanks GM), added to the c.30yr old Slazenger & Wilson gear I have sat in 2 x bags in the garage . So I'm not doing too bad.
I'll post up my thoughts about the new driver on Monday as it's sure to be the most eagerly awaited thread about new clubs on the day. :thup:
