Nevada Bobs - Broadgate, London

NBs have a small branch at Copford, just outside Colchester - semi-permanent 3 boxes for the price of 2 on Srixon balls - drop (too) regularly to top up.

Must be a local thing as the Broadgate shop never seems to have any similar deals on.

I use to work at Aldgate so would often wander into NB's. It never really seemed to be doing much business and was always full of the casula punter whiling away time at lunchtime or waiting for a train from Liverpool Street. I can see how it would be pretty discouraging for the sales staff but I always believe you get out what you put in and so a little effort on their part may have helped.

The NB in Farnborough on the other hand is completely different. Well stocked and with some friendly staff.

Hey keep out of Farnborough NB Homer, i don't want to get caught behind you trying out all the clubs :D :D :D

Haven't been there for a while as it's a bit of a trek from Bracknell. Mind you that means I haven't seen the latest stock. Now what have I got planned for Sunday?

They have just opened a shop in Leeds. I couldn't wait to get down there last Saturday, walked in and no one in the huge store, the gent asked if what I was looking for and casually I stated nowt much (but really I was looking for a putter).

Anyway, after 30 minutes of putting and trying most of the putters and going back to the same Scotty and looking over I still didn't get any attention... I picked up the 2.6 and saw it had a mark on the head so popped over and asked if they had any more in stock and if they had the California in stock (as they had a huge poster behind the studio putters) and the answer was no :( Anyway I asked for discount and he said 20% for cash... I didn't buy then but ended up going back later in the day and requested some help, to which I received a chocolate fire guard.

Overall I would go back if I was desperate for something before the weekend or I was in the area with the wife for a quick look but I wouldn't go out of my way to spend cash there.

I think the problem with NB is that they have limited stock and manufactures. Its not far off Sports Direct.

I thought they were pretty helpful in Broadgate.

I went in looking to get my putter cut down by an inch. The manager took my club cut it down and re-gripped it and didn't charge me for it.

A few days later I was looking for a pair of golf shoes and was looking at the Adidas 360 Tour Ltd. He said he could do them for £65, so I have no complaints.
