Has anybody on here tried the Netflix deal

I registered this week and i love the simple idea of it

Excellent choice of movies allbeit not the very latest movies, but great for low cost movie watching and a large choice.

You can watch them on the laptop, xbox, Wii ect and for the cost after the 1 month free trial i like it,

Worth checking out if you like your movies

Clearly why would you post this in the lounge section???????????????????

I believe Netflix have only just launched their service in the UK to rival similar sevices from lovefilm and apple. I have a media pc connected to my tv so i'm planning to trial both the netflix and lovefilm services to see which is best. The price seems quite reasonable but it just depends on how much choice they have.

I quite like the idea of Netflix as something cheap to watch if there is nothing on telly. Not worried about it beinf the latest films. My only issue is that my Xbox is not connected to the main telly as I would never get to play it but the service cannot be accessed through a Virgin box.

I have started using Zune, downloaded my first rental on the weekend. i like the fact there is no ongoing fee, just pay for what you watch...

Just cancelled my love film subscription (£10 a month) and changed to netflix. Then lovefilm started their "streaming only" service for the same price. By all accounts both have their plus points, but I'm finding netflix good, so will probably stick with that.
