I have a yonex nanospeed 5 wood and 7 wood which I never use so I'm looking to get rid of them and get 1 club which replaces the 2 but what do I get ? I was thinking a rescue wood. Any ideas ?
And if it is a rescue wood then what one ?

or dith the 3 aswell and just get a 4 wood :)

If a hybrid then something around the 17/18/19 degree mark

Theres plenty of decent ones about, go and hit a few at a local range maybe and see which you prefer. I have had Nike VR, Cobra Baffler, Yonex Cyberstar and now a ping hybrid, they all go well and are damn easy to hit tbh

I'd recommend a Hybrid/Rescue.

Always pays to try them out - and even take the clubs to be replaced along to compare - but 21* +/- a degree or 2 should be about right. Hybrids can be 'wood oriented' or 'iron oriented' and, depending on width of sole, some are significantly better than others from the 2-3 inch rough that the 5/7-woods can be useful from.

It's all about yardages. You need to work out the gap you have if you drop the two clubs and find one that its in the middle.
