The Grinder Of Pars (Semi Crocked)
My brother came over to play this morning with me and CVG. Now Phil's not the best golfer on the planet but when he plays a hole well he's not bad. Being a typical high handicapper he'll par a hole then take a 10 on the next.
Anyway, we're on the 15th - a par 3 about 170 yards. I'm on the green, CVG chips on in 2 and Phil chips on in 3 but about 30 feet past the hole. I took the flag out and waited for him to putt. Imagine our surprise when he played to an old hole with a plastic cover on it about 20 feet left of the real hole. And to make matters worse he didn't get anywhere near that one either. Nearly split my sides with the giggles.... We gave him a mulligan and let him try again. At least he went for the right hole this time but still got it nowhere near.
And the good news was I pipped CVG on countback with a 20 point back 9 including gross -1 for the last 4 holes (12 points)
