My views on forged vs cast...

closest I came in trying clubs to hitting similar design heads in both cast and forged were Cobra S2.
cast are to me lumpen and dull, the forged equivalent was significantly better - though no better than my existing MacGregors (also forged).

my new irons are, no surprise, forged

I have got benross VX51 forged irons.

To be honest I'm not as qualified to make expert comparisons between cast and forged as some of you guys on here and I'm not really saying forged are better than cast, seeing as I got better stats with a cast club!
What I am saying is that the forged irons I have feel softer, more controllable and altoghether better than the cast irons that I have used and therefore I cant see myself going back to cast clubs.
