A bit of info

Regular coaching- i have lessons but not had any since Novemeber and seeing these videos i need some
We worked on creating width at the top of the swing which it does not look like i doing

Strengths are Driving and everything around the green

Weakness- putting

How often do i play/practise-
I play 2/3 times a week which could just be 9 holes and a range session once a week and a hours putting a week

Handicap is 8

Shot patterens

Driver -draw although i overdo it and go left quite a bit with the block thrown in for good measure

FW & Hybrid small draw mostly

long/mid irons around a 20 yard draw

short irons - pretty straight

I liked these.

Glad to see no stack and tilt going on here with the big sticks. :)

A tiny bit inside and then a tiny bit across at the top, but a good plane, nice tempo, solid balance and attractive finish.....

Good swing...not so different from mine in many respects, a little faster and more powerful no doubt.

Be good to see one down the line in better light....I think I'd be impressed.

H'cap?

Watched your wedge.. you are aiming quite a lot right (towards the tree) compared to where you appeared to have been looking at the target (feet, shoulders and especially the club all aimed to the right). I could be wrong of course as I have no real idea of where the target actually was, especially in the dark :) hehe

It's also a very full swing for a wedge... were you trying to knock the skin off it? :D

Nice swing.

Regards...

With the wedge the flag is under my chin but i started the ball just over the tree to let it come in off the wind

Knock the skin off it was a smooth gap wedge

Andy, that looks like a fantastic, not being gay or 'owt but I'd be happy if my swing looked that smooth and I could complete my turns like that. Git.

I know the light was terrible i had good intentions to get filmed while i was playing to get my real swing which IMO is a little sloppy

Hopefully ill go the range later and film again and put it on YouTube

Lots of good movements in this swing

A couple of things I noticed
You may be a right about the width at the top. Especially with the driver swing from front on. It looks like you have a huge turn and the club is a little close to you at the top. I would prefer to see a slightly tighter and wider turn to the top. This will mean a more consistent strike pattern.

To practice
Set up to the ball, make a backswing and stop at the top. Hold this position for a number of seconds, feel the width and also the tightness off the turn. I like people to feel like they cannot breath at the top. This is an exagerated feeling but creates a sensation of power.

Also, just check your ball position with the driver (it may be the cammera angle) but it looks a little too far back. Always check alignment and ball position. These are the basics for me that always go amiss

Let me know how you get on, look forward to your feedback
