My Swing - Comments???

Over the winter months I have taken a little time to woek on my swing a little to try and eliminate the problems of 2009.

I've been trying to make it more of a one plane swing and a litle flatter...

Any comments???

Nice swing Sonny.
I think the backswing is good
Im guessing you fade the ball most of the time with the occasional pull?
I looks to me as if you rush the change of direction at the top of the swing a bit.
Try and make the first part of the downswing a bit smoother.
But other than that, I wouldn't change alot

Yeah, can see that, although slowish by Olly's standards. also, can't see if the ball is only pegged up 1/8th of an inch with the driver.

Thanks for the comments guys. The ball is being hit off the matt...no tee involved. I had a look at Olly and Sandy and you're right. I haven't set out to emulate anyones swing, just to groove a swing that is easy to use, consistent and easy on the body.

Some of the problems of 2009 were inconsistency in ball striking, distances and accuracy. At the moment I'm finding easier to find all three at the same time. Fortunately the ball doesn't hook or slice and I've recently (before the snow) put in score of 7 over. I'm hoping to improve on that.

Hard to be sure from one swing, but I am pretty sure I have seen players with low handicaps with much worse actions. I think you can play with that swing!

That looked very nice although it did look a big quick on the downswing. Very good on the way back and a great position at the top of the backswing
