It would be great if you could provide me with a little bit of info about your whole game. I posted some questions on a previous page.

Not knowing about your game I will hazard a few guesses (please correct me if I am wrong)
You hit the ball quite low
Long with your short irons but struggle with your longer irons/woods
Bad shot - hook or push

The reason for the above comments is because of how closed the clubface is during the backswing and at the top of the swing.
When this occurs during the backswing you will then have to manipulate the clubface back to square on the downswing, many times you do it well, sometimes too much, sometimes too litte.

A closed clubface at halfway back will point towards the ground and at the top it will point towards the sky
Ideally halfway back the toe of the club should point up to the sky, at the top the leading edge of the club should be at 45degrees

Try This
Start the swing and stop at halfway back, club at hip height parallel to the ground and ball to target line. Check the angle of the clubface, as I said the toe should be poiting to the sky. Then carry on with your swing from there and hit the ball
This is the only point during the swing where you can have an awareness of the angle of the clubface. Generally if it is good at halfway back it will be in a good position at the top

Other than the closed clubface there are many good things going on. Develop a better awareness of the clubface and I would expect to see a slightly higer ball flight and less shape on your shots.

Hope the advice helps (hope my guesses were accurate)

Look forward to hearing how you get on

I tell you what...

I've been waiting AGES to see a swing that is not too flat at the set.

Here's yours

Dave, you're so right. That is one of the most common issues in peoples swings...mine included!
