My last post was asking people for advice on how to get better and stop slicing the ball. Most people told me to get lessons and I have had my first one today and it went like a dream. He sorted me out within 20 minutes the basics to get a good swing and anyone who say lessons are no good are wrong in my opinion. Now it's time for practice practice practice. Thank you everyone for your advice :)

You cured your slice in 20 mins of a lesson????????

Not a problem. Big fan of regular lessons and all you need to do now is work on the drills you were shown, practice hard and take it on the course with you and not revert to type if you have a few bad rounds. You have to stick with these changes

Yes - absolutely what Homer above says. You must practice in between, and stick with it, even amongst bad practice sessions, bad rounds and occasionally a bewildering lesson.

Practice practice practice or you'll revert to old bad habits hence the suggestions to get lessons right from the start when people ask. Far easier to ingrain good things than change bad. Glad all went well good luck moving forward.
