I like to listen to music when I practice and have in the passed used the old style ipod which are quite big and heavy.
But now they have the newer version, the ipod Nano 6th gen 8 Gb

It looks just what I'm after.
Small, lightweight and with a clip to fasten to a belt or jacket pocket.
Has anyone got one or tried one?

I used to have an older version of the Nano and can highly recommend them. Light, easy to use, brilliant battery life, big enough memory wise for all you'll need. And they're not too expensive. Whatever you do, dont buy an Ipod shuffle, theyre rubbish.

My wife has one for the gym, really good, just like a mini version of the full size Ipod with pretty much all functions. You can even shake it to change track. It really is small and light (could even clip it on a cap). Thoroughly recommended.

I've got one, Bob. It's OK. I got mine free as I had the 1st gen iPod which was recalled.
I'm not a big fan of the touch screen. It's far too small a unit to have a touch screen.
The sound quality isn't that great either. My old 1st gen iPod had a much better sound than the new iPod.

Other than that, I'm well happy with it... ;)

My wife uses one in the gym. She loves it. Easy to use and almost unnoticeably light. Standard earphones not brilliant, though, so if you are a hifi buff, will need an upgrade.
