Last night my notecarddy S3 trolley kept cutting out, walking along with it and it would just cut out and stop, the display would show what looked the letter L on the display. If I pressed the button it would start and go again only to do the same 20 yards further on. anybody know anything about motocaddy trolleys?

That's battery nearly flat isn't it? L = Low

From the Manual:

Safety Cut-out

Your Motocaddy trolley is fitted with a safety cut out feature which will help prevent damage to your trolley in the event of it being inadvertently switched on and in a position where it is not able to move for 30 seconds. If this should occur, the trolley will automatically cut the power to the motor. If your trolley has cut out for this reason you will see the following on the display:

• For an S1 PRO the LED panel will display an “L” where the speed setting would usually beshown and the left hand LED will still be lit (fig. 1)
• For an S3 PRO the screen will flash “LOAD” where the distance would usually be displayedand the blue circle will still be rotating (fig. 2)

Pressing the on/off button will reset your trolley

I posted a reply here earlier but it seems to have gone.
The battery should have had plenty charge
The trolley hadn't been in a situation where it wasn't able to move for 30 seconds, I was walking with it at the time and it was doing it repetitively every 20 yards or so. Iv disconnected everything and connected back up and charged the battery again so I'll see what happens now

I have a similar problem, initially it only "tripped" on speed 3 but now it does it on all speeds. I've asked Motorcaddy tech support but I suspect a battery problem, even though it had had a full charge cycle.
