Motocaddy S1 Digital Battery

Hi guys I just bought a Motocaddy S1 Digital with the standard 18 hole battery. I read the instructions and it said to charge for 8 hours. I did this and then after some time the battery charger indicated that it was fully charged.

To check it worked I plugged it in and ran the trolley no more than 20 yards, back and forth in my lounge, however since then I have had it back on charge and now it just shows the orange light (90% charge) and doesn't seem to go to the green light at all.

Do you think I may have a duff battery and/or charger.

My charger's orange light stays on for 8 hours regardless of battery state. It's more like a timer than a charge indicator.

Of course yours may be different. Mine is Hillbilly.

Well according to the info an orange light for mine means its 90% charged. Will just have to wait and see now though as not playing tomorrow cos of the snow.

I have a powerbug and it does the same as yours, goes amber for a set period (never timed it myself) think its just an automatic setting within the charger itself and doesnt relate to actual battery charge state

Take it back , they soon tell you if its ok or not , best do it now as its still covered by warranty
