Motocaddy s1 charging issue

I have recently purchased a 2nd hand motocaddy s1 electric trolley(2019).I have a problem that the batteries don't last 1 round.I connect the battery to the charge and when it's says its complete ie green light I turn off etc. I have tried both batteries that was supplied and its the same for both.Is it a charger problem or a trolley problem?

Neither. The batteries are knackered. Rarely last 5 years, conk out as the warranty expires.

Odd I think as both are exactly the same..if the guy before bought 2 batteries then you could say they are potentially only 2.5 years old.Borrowing a friends charger at the weekend to see if it's any different.

If they're Lithium batteries they deteriorate over time, whether of not they've been used. If they've been stored unused incorrectly, e.g. fully discharged, they could deteriorate more rapidly.
