Most annoying Americanism

I'm involved with organising and filming around 30 Bucs fans in London next weekend for the NFL game at Tottenham. We will be at all the main London attractions with a film crew. And outside of all the standard tourist questions I've been asked, I just got this one.

"We want to go and see Stonehenge whilst we're in London. Can we get the tube there or can we do it on the way back from France?"

whenever i ran into a stateside golfer and he realised i was from 'London'... the first thing they want to talk about is how they want to or have enjoyed playing St Andrews ... any amount of trying to educate them that London and Scotland are not next to each other seems to fall on deaf ears.

Americans are famously bad at geography outside of their own country, but my knowledge of US states is equally bad so I never take issue with it.

Hope it was a civil response 😊
