Whats the story with these and why is it that they are not very popular seeing as their irons are very good.

Was in the local golf shop this morning just window shopping and there is a brand new Mizuno MP600 fast track still in its plastic for 99 euro's.....

Are they really that bad...It looked quite nice and if i were in the market for a new driver it may very well have found a home.

They're good. The 630 is cheap now because they just released the 650. for £99, it's a friggin steal.

The Fubuki shaft is nicer than the yellow and black coloured one that comes in some of them though (IMO).

I have the JPX800 which is lovely as well and very forgiving.

I have the MP-630. It's a fantastic driver, if not a little too good for my swing.

The shaft in the entie 630 range (Mitsubishi Rayon Fubuki) is fantastic and what swung me into getting the driver as I already had the fairway wood and hybrid.

I know they have changed the shaft to a Fujikura Orochi Red Eye in the 650 line.

I know it's a "Made for" shaft, like the Fubuki in the previos model, but don't know if it'll play as well as Ethan pointed out, the previous Fubuki shaft was pretty close to the proper Fubuki considering it was a "Made for" version.

Be interesting to hear how good the Fukijura compares to the previos Fubuki

I have both the 630 "standard" and the Fast Track and they are both excellent drivers.
I don't think I have heard anyone calling them bad before, yeah maybe not as popular as the latest fashion craze white/orange/pink (delete as fashion dictates) numbers that TM, PING and Cobra come up with but every inch a decent bit of kit.
As Jon says, the 630 is old now, and most kit decreases in value as it ages and new models are released (MP650) like the Callaway Diablo Edge, it was being sold for as little as £60 a few months back, still a decent enough driver - just ageing and replaced with a newer model.

That's my (Monday Syndrome) tupenny'orth.

I also have the standard MP630 in 9deg stiff and 10.5deg stiff in the Fast-Track.

God knows I've had my fair share of drivers (even the MP600 which was pretty good too, but not as good as the MP630) but this is by far the best that I've had. The 10.5 Fast-Track is my favourite as you need to be on you game with the 9deg Standard!! or it sprays all over the shop!!

Yeah my mate has just picked up the 630 fastrack for £90 bargain. He also went for the 10.5 for the extra forgiveness. He plays off 11 and at his fitting with mizzy was recommended the 12 degree but he wasn't man enough to buy it!!

I've got a MP630 FT and an older 600 both better drivers than any Ping, TM or other driver i've tried.

I Can't understand it myself, I think they make good drivers

I don't know what the problem is with Mizzy drivers but they just don't do it for me. I have never found one I really like to look of behind the ball or one that I can hit as consistently as my burner
