Anyone got one or tried one? I believe it to be for lower h'cappers only. How is it for us higher h'cappers?

I just like the idea of the moveable weights. I used to have a cronic slice, but have worked that out of my game (well mostly), and now have the occasional snap hook (can't win them all). But this club looks as if it would change the weighting to suit your game at various stages of learning. I could have bought a 'draw' driver a year or 2 ago, I'm glad I didn't now, as I (apparently) have a nice drawing swing!!

Would the MP600 be the way forward for lots of us as we progress and develop different problems?

haplesshacker,
I got one back in late January, tried and tested a variety of shafts and lofts and ended up with a spec that I probably wouldn't have just picked up off the shelf.

In my opinion it is a very good driver. I've played a lot of golf recently and have found this to be more accurate than the R7 425 it replaced but maybe not as long. I've certainly played off more fairways this year and that's always a good thing.

With regard to the weights, they do have an effect but it it minimal so they will not sort out a swing problem. Having said that, I have now had them set in the same position for the last couple of months with no more tinkering. I may tinker again during the summer when the ground is harder just to see what can be squeezed out performance wise!

Brendy has one also and has also benefitted from it, maybe he'll post an answer for you.

Well worth it n my opinion.

Not the ultimate answer you are after but yesterday several of my drives actually suprised both myself and the other three fellas in the fourball. Im not going to claim it will help you knock the ball 30 yards further and im not going to get into bragging either however, this driver has been a revelation for me and on my outing yesterday I hit a few remarkable drives which easily surpassed what I would call my average drives, one of which flew straight and high, landed and stopped 30 something yards from the green which was measured 390 to the centre from the particular tees we were playing of. I usually hit a very healthy drive but even yesterday it left me gawping at some of the distances.
I also know that you have to be fairly accurate to get the best out of the club as its not just as easy to hit as the old callaways etc.

Playing off 11 at present. This years targets include a return to single figures and so far that looks possible. I lost all confidence with the driver over the last couple of season so I really struggled.
