Thinking of buying a set of blades for fun use and practice and wondering differences- obviously a difference in age so leaning towards the newer mp32 but like the look of both?

Can get a full set for about £90-120 in good condition

can't comment on the TP9 as never even tried those, but had a set of 32 and they would be up there with the best irons Mizuno ever made, they have slightly larger heads than some of the other Mizuno blades ive had, but are by far the most forgiving. still have a 6 iron as a practice club.

great clubs, if i saw a set myself that were in good condition, would jump on them

I have a set of TP9’s that I use for practice. I don’t know what it is about them but I don’t find my 850 forged’s any more forgiving. I was only down the range yesterday with the 7i (8i in today’s loft specs) but I was hitting it to the 150 marker just as well as the 850’s

I’ve been hesitant to game them but thought sod it yesterday and have had them all regripped ready for a round next week.

TP9s, ah the club I covetted for so long, finally went to get a set and couldnt hit them for toffee!!! Ended up with a set of Sounder SB blades (oh I wish Id never let them go!)
