Gareth I bought a 3deep callaway 3wood, I realise it's not a mini driver, but the thing goes as far as my driver with a great flight, easy off the t and fairway. Picked it up for 50 quid like new.

Yep, I have a 13.5 degree 3 deep x hot, longer than my driver when there is run on the ball in the summer.

Do you carry both Duncan? Or choose one or the other depending on what you want on the day?

Both at this time of year - when there's bounce and run I leave the driver out and carry a 56

I bought a 14* sldr from one of the lads on here. I was struggling with a wild slice with my R1 at the time which left me with zero confidence off the tee. This seems to be a lot more forgiving when I do swing badly and any slices don't go as far right, so any oob have been greatly reduced.

Tried my R1 again last week and was a lot better with it, so it has helped get my confidence back with that too. Very happy with mine.

I was never the longest hitter anyway so any distance lost has been negligible.
