mid life crisis?

I must admit, at 48, I have absolutely no motivation for gym work or anything remotely hard work.
I get my only exercise walking the dog 2/3 times per day, and golf of course, but the last time I was at the Doc's for anything, he was adamant that was quite sufficient at my age.

However, I have myself joked with friends that Yoga or similar was probably a damn good bet for any of us at our age.
Might just have to try it.

Just today i've started my first session of pilates in the hope of increasing flexibility and strength.

Now that's the answer but do it in somewhere warm like Barbados!

I've always wanted fancied "Pilates of the Carribbean!"

Sorry!

Chris

Guys, I’m playing off 5, the lowest HC of my life and I’m 58…frightens the crap out of me this age thing. I treat things like cleaning my car and mowing the lawn as exercise. Just get out and play golf as often as possible. The older you get the more you should get out and hit balls.

All well and good Thommo but when it hurts /aches/throbs when you do hit balls and afterwards then its time to see if a small bit of effort can help. For me its only going to be 30-40 mins 3 times a week. Anyone can find that time tbh

@ Homer I only look old i'm still a young 'un compared to most on here (Bob) :D

OY! I thought you were supposed to be playing this game with a 'care free' attitude..... and don't go saying fitness is a life thing! ;)
