Mid-Herts midweek mini-meet 14th October 2025

It is close to my Birthday, and Mrs potentilly talking about going away, but i hope I can make it.

FYI i thought you meant Mid Herts GC at first 😂 there is such a place!

Sadly I'm on a peculiar set of shifts that week in which I'm unable to predict my day off (or indeed the times when I'll be working) from this far out. So I'll have to leave myself off for now. I'll find out the week before what I'll be on, so if I can manage to play I'll let you know then. Obviously, If you've a full set of even numbers, I accept that I'll just have to miss out for now.

Cool. As mentioned earlier, I suggest we make Tuesday 14th October a firm date but let's not worry about paying in full for an advance booking. As per the pic below, if this coming Tuesday in August is this quiet I don't imagine October is going to be too busy.
We can book it in the preceding week; if they insist on money up front then they can put up with each of us phoning up individually to add ourselves to the booking.

Good morning all.
It's 4 weeks away. Just wanted to check in and see if folks are still up for this.
I've had a look at Mill Green GC visitor booking this morning and tomorrow is fully available between 11 and 12 so I still see no reason to book and pay in advance for Tuesday 14th October.
Leaving it until the week before also obviously gives us the flexibility to ditch it for another date if the weather forecast predicts a washout. A chance of a light shower at some point in a 4-hour round doesn't bother me but I won't be turning up if it's properly raining all day.
The list so far was:

No problem. It'll be a case of booking it a day or two before for those who can make it, so no advance commitment needed.
I've booked the day off work so as long as there's at least one other person and <80% chance of heavy rain I'll be there.
 
It's looking more and more like I've cocked this up - the missus keeps insisting that that is the week she'll be booking our holiday. :(
