Memory stick formatted (whiped clear) in error

Ok, so this is for my CCTV. I deleted the recorded files in error. Is there anyway I can reinstall these ?
The events are no longer on the hard drive.

You could try either piriform Recuva or Pandora recovery, both have worked for me in the past.
Remember to recover any data to another drive so it doesn't overwrite potentially useful files not get recovered.
