Hi Folks.

Just wondering where best to find resources about the mechanics of the golf swing. I want to learn more about mechanics and teaching side of it.

If any one could point me in the right direction that would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

This is a pretty good, if occasionally a bit technical. There is no pushing of a 'method', though a critical analysis of some. http://perfectgolfswingreview.net/

It also references quite a few other good references. Homer Kelly's 'The Golf Machine' is another slightly over-technical one, but lots of subsequent coaches have reworked the concepts without dumbing down them. Others have taken a single concept, re-badged it and called it their own!

Basically, read as many as you can - including 'off the wall' ones, as they all have things to offer. I'm even coming round a bit to Joe Dante's Conservation of Angular Momentum approach, though as an explanation/measurement rather than his absolute focus on it.
