im looking to buy a new wedge for the coming season ,
now things are a little tight right now , which has caused me to look on ebay for a decent wedge , i have found some quite well priced MDgolf wedges ,they appear to be genuine and the feedback is realy good , i have read and seen the good reviews about these products and everything seems positive ,

your thoughts / advice would be most welcome

I don't have any MD wedges, but have recently purchased a set of their irons and woods. I am very, very impressed with the quality and attention to detail at the price and would have no hesitation in recommending their equipment to anyone.

I bought 2 superstrong wedges, last year taking a 50deg and a 58deg, I love them. Playing partners all play Vokeys and everyone of them agree that the MD are more forgiving while accurate and give massive amounts of spin.
As per usual with new wedges they will shread and eat your balls on full shots, but its worth it when the ball bounces once and stops or comes back to you.
The 50deg gap wedge is really versatile and I use it for 90% of my shots from 100 yards in. The grind allows you to open the face or close it with no major problems.

Supersrtong wedges all have regular bounce and the Norman Drew series have half as much. I play on parkland and tend to take a large divot when wet, thus the Superstrong is better for me. If you play links or take regular small divots the Norman Drews may be more versatile with less bounce.

I have not tried the new series of stuff but if it is as good as the last lot then count me in when I am renewing the Superstrongs.

Honestly the MD's are as good as most of the top name wedges bar, maybe, Vokeys.

I've had Superstrongs in the past and they have done the job admirally.

The only problem I can see with MD, Benross etc etc - the good budget brands - is that they are not a "name". A lot of people want the Titleist/Callaway/TaylorMade etc name on their clubs - nothing wrong with that but there's not much bragging rights going to come your way.

But they are good clubs - without a doubt.

The 60* I have is the most used in the bag now, great forgiveness and spin and at £30 a shot thats less than half the price of Vokeys which arent as forgiving.

The new Seve grind wedges are at full wack at the moment but once they come down to ND prices £40-45 each then I might got for a set, but these 2009 Vokeys don't have look sexy

Hi,
Have just bought the 2009 series super strong wedges from a guy on ebay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Golf-King-1-Golf-Shop
he will fit the grips u want shaft loft and lie the 2009 series are a bit more expensive but if you go for the older models they are great value i'll let u know how mine go on the range tonight and on the course on saturday as some said above the norman drew wedges are only if u play on a rock hard course or links as they have very low bounce.

he in fact said the MD wedges are now often being considered the # 1 on the market , the putters also look and feel like they are buisness .....

Hi,
Not a lot to it really they will measure your hand for the grip then get you to hit off a peice of plastic with a tape on the bottom of the club to make sure it is the right lie and length they should have a machine to test the swing speed to make sure the shaft is the right flex and that about it.
