I have got a MD Superstrong Hybrid and it is my go to club for sure. I so have the MD Superstrong 5 wood which works wonders (it has managed to kick my Nike Sumo 5 wood out the bag) also so what does anyone thing to their Irons (provided anyone has used them)?

I need to get some new Irons and as i really love the MD wood / Hybrid am thinking about getting the irons also. Has anyone had any experience with them?

I also like the Mizuno MX-100's and have tried them so these are a possibility but like the fact that MD seem to pumping out decent gear and they aren't overpriced compared to other pieces of equipment i have?

Cheers Fellas

I'm interested to hear reports aswell as considering the nv drew wedges but dont know anyone thats used them. Good to hear the fairway woods are good, they might find there way into my bag aswell.....

The MD Superstrong Hybrid is brilliant, don't feel like i hit a bad shot with it. As my Driver is playing up I tend to use my Hybrid alot of the tee as i can hit it around the 200 yard mark and almost guarantee hitting the fairway.

I've got the driver too, not the newest one but I think there isn't a great deal of difference between the models from the last few years. Absolutely love it, very forgiving and didn't cost much at all 2nd hand.

However, I also have the fairway woods (3+5) and whilst I have hit some good shots with them, they never seemed to click for me in the same way the driver did. Just replaced them with cleveland launchers and have seen a big improvement, although its probably more due to the shaft than the head.

I use an MD Wedge and would not change it and I have tried and liked MD irons but for woods and hybrids at a bargain price I prefer Benross

i have the 50 gap wedge and love it. its the club i use for all shots near the green

Ive changed all of my wedges to MD now, Norman Drew 50, Superstrong 54 and 58 wedges too. I like the 50 and 54 so much that they displaced my Vokey spin mill which I have for sale in the proshop! The 58 is pretty good effort too.

I've got a set of MD Tungsten Ti2 irons fitted with UST Tourforce graphite shafts (medium flex) in "almost new" condition that you could buy. I bought them new from the pro at Willingdon Golf Club, who are official MD stockists.

Was getting on well with them but I sold my motorbike, had a bit of spare cash and the CF bug bit so I went the route of new Mizunos. I had only played with the MD's about four times I guess.
Great looking clubs and can hit the ball miles (in the right hands!).
Recommended price for the graphite set was £399.00 (although I got them cheaper than this!).
Yours for £150.00

;)

Snuffy tut tut, get them up in the for sale section, more chance of them selling. MD make great clubs, one of the very few newer brands that have managed to establish themselves and without having to make clunky gadgets to make them work.
