Match play blues

Played singles match play knockout today and started like a train 4 up after 7. Then the wheels came off, Started thinking it was in the bag and lost 2 and 1. Is this a normal Phenomenon or am I just c**p.

You're not crap just an idiot. Took your foot off the gas and lacked the killer instinct. Been there and done it myself. Three or four up with a few holes left. You have a bad one and think it's ok I've still got it sorted. Same on the next and then he plays a good shot and your back to all square. He's got the momentum and the inevitable happens

Thats just what happened, he won 8 with a par and I bogied I thought no problemwe halved 9 and I thought ah stopped the charge he then won three on the trot. Mind you I gave him one of those by going OB.

Nev, it's easily done, I played against a 6 hc player in the daily mail earlier this year, I was 5 down after 7. Head down and git it back to 3 up with 3 to play, could I get a half, could I ballaxe. Halved my match, but I played safe for half which I never got instead of trying for a win and taking a half. It's never over or won in march play until you shake hands
