Kaymer carved through the field this morning with a 63 to win in China.
Not a bad final round 63 which included 7 birdies on the back 9 to come back in 29!
He beat the Painter Freddie Jacobsen by 3 shots in the end who came 2nd with G-mac turning in a good weeks work coming 3rd 4 shots behind Kaymer with a Final round 67.

All in all another superb week for the European Tour with 8 members in the top 10.

After last weeks woeful display, it was good to see Gmac coming in third with a strong performance

Talk about going from the ridiculous to the sublime

Im surprised Sergio wasnt there after his 2 recent wins, was there a cut off date or didnt he fancy the trip?

Fragger

I was thinking about Kaymer only last week, I'd expected him to be the man to beat for the No 1 spot at the start of this year but in the event he's hardly shown at all, even slipping out of the top 5.

Good to see him bouncing back with a win in a decent class field.

Great final round by Kaymer and hopefully he's sorted his swing out for next season.
Talking of which there are a lot of players coming back into action albeit at the end when it doesn't matter but; Harrington, Casey, and Garcia are all class acts to add to those already riding high and capable of Major wins.
I was scornful of Oousthuizen winning the 2010 Open but eat my hat now as he has a great swing and looks better each time I see him.
However, Westwood??? Gets in contention but he looks to have lost it now and next season is last chance saloon I'm afraid.
