Malteser advert

There are two or three Malteser adverts along those lines and I think they are just awful and not necessary at all.
Very poor.

Not sure which advert it is but the company have been applauded many times for breaking down barriers and finding a lighter side on issues or social standings that some people turn their head away from. People find them awkward etc because they tackle those issues or highlight other areas of society that a lot turn a blind eye too. They also work with many charities and organisations to ensure they get the right message - they are a superb advertiser and do it very well.

Really don't see any problems with any of the ones they've shown and actually applaud the company for being brave enough to come up with these ideas. Clearly it meets advertising standards guidelines or it wouldn't have made ti to screen or have been pulled by now. I think people are looking for issues in all sorts of things these days where none exist

I’m far from a snowflake so don’t worry about that.

I just didn’t think it was the right advert for a sweet.

It was suggesting a disabled women was having a moment with her boyfriend where she was masturbating him when she had a spasm but it wasn’t a problem because it made him ejaculate.
This is how I saw it.
Ok nothing wrong with all that, but to sell a sweet?
Not for me.
I suppose kids wouldn’t pick up on it.

I get why you are associating the product and the way its advertised and to a point agree with your point about is that the way to sell a sweet, but it's very much in line with the deaf lady and her hearing aid being digested by the dog and its brave to use disability in this way to advertise the product and could have spectacularly failed and damaged the name of a long established sweet to the point where it would have needed a complete makeover and rebrand

That’s the point tho.. it’s suppose to go over kids heads

Just like pantos are full of suggestive innuendo for the adults

Levels of humour

Much like shrek is a brilliant film

Watch as a kid it’s a kids film

Watch as an adult and it’s even better

have you not seen the ad for the Rowntree golden shower bar or 3 fingers Kit kat:ROFLMAO:

Not sure if I've seen it, but from your description I imagine it will only be seen as a positive representation of disabled people. And if you need to have an adult mind to put two and two together on the humour then I don't see a problem.
