Just looking at the Ping, Play your best competition again, (Entry in and drooling)
and noticed that the closing date for entries is Thursday 22 March, which is very close indeed to the first "Date" of the prize (Monday 26 March).
This throws up a potential problem
Even though we have been told to keep that date free, ( It Is
we all have busy lives and the need to manage our diaries. inevitably as the date approaches, we will have to juggle dates that clash.
my fear is that someone will get chosen who cannot then make that date, whereas if he had a weeks notice, it wouldnt have been a problem.
Maybe past winners of previous prizes could comment on the time between "announcement" and "The big day" and whether a bit more notice would have been better
