Just a quickie before I head for another outstanding plateful of full kintyre breakfast which is outstanding.
Friday kicked off with nine of us heading to Dunaverty where the Machrihanish Swing 2012 kicked off on a fantastic little hidden treasure where the greens, conditions in general and views were outstanding. The day belonged to Valentino (Martin Clarke) who romped home with a bandit sombrero hat and 44 stableford points pipping Bunkers (Raymond Oliphant) into 2nd spot with a mere 41 points.
A heavy Friday night saw a few delicate heads on Saturday morning at Machrihanish Dunes where a new format of "blind pairs" was the successful choice of game. The lucky duo was Sammmebee (Sam Smith), 34 points and Gavin Stewart 33 points. Individual score wise the credit goes to Graeme Campbell with an outstanding 41 points which included 6 birdies, another one of these bandit 1 handicap players.
Breakfast calls then Machrihanish.
