Well actually I have lost the entire vacuum cleaner!

Finally moving out of the inlaws place into my own house with my wife. Did the big move on Tuesday, bed/mattress/sofa etc arriving over the next few days/weeks.

Currently most things are still in boxes but hey thats moving house!

Weird thing is after 2 years in storage we cannot find our nice baby dyson DC22, cracking little cleaner but nowhere to be seen!

Now the market is flooded with small cheap vacuums, I doubt I will buy dyson again as they now seem overpriced. When we got the DC22 the competition didnt live up in performance.

Anyone recommend a small cheap vacuum cleaner as good as the dyson baby?

Dyson all day long. Go to the local tip or 2nd hand shop, get the cheapest vacuum you can find and wait for the dyson trade in where you get £100 off when trading in your old one. Tesco and currys do it.

"Nothing Sux like an Electrolux" best advert ever...........

apart from that theres a reason Dysons are more expensive.......you even 'loved' your other one.

Buy in haste, repent at leisure

Buy cheap, buy twice

....

Dyson..buy cheap and you will buy dear.
I also have a wee Henry for the loft [it's big] and garage which is also very good, suit a small flat etc.

I was helping the auld yins from the village church tidy up after their week at the local town's charity shop [It is a trust that rents weekly to local groups, great idea].
I was using this hoover and started complaining how useless it was and they should get a new one. My fellow helper then says that the shop one was broken and she had brought her own one from home to use [OOPS]

We just bought a stain slim. Brilliant. Our old dyson was ten years old so decided to get a new one after the hose had gone again. Unfortunately a week after they hd the trade in offer gutted.

When I read the title to this thread I expected something more 'Exotic'

Anyhow! Get a Henry, they do what it says on the tin, are cheap and go on for ever.
