Lost and found

I totally gave up over Christmas, basically lived off chocolate every day, then after a week and a half I weighed myself and surprisingly had only put on two pounds. I put it down to the calories I saved by sleeping through breakfast every day. Diet tip for you there.
 
I can see a bit of a pattern here. I lost a stone in the first lockdown and got half of it back in the second. Am I at the top of the sine wave or merely half way up the climb?
