Yep, four rounds completed today. 22.5 miles in total. Points as a team were, 97, 108, 105 & 116. I shot 89, 83, 92 & 87 (strokes). Really wasn't as hard as I imagined it would be. Was massively surprised to see so many people on the course between 5.30 & 8.00am. To anyone thinking of doing it next year, crack on. I really had a great day with 3 top mates.

Had sandwiches and a handful of chips after 36 holes. Had two granola bars and a nutrition grain bar for the rest of the day in total.

Well done and I hope you raised a good amount of money for charity.

Did 100 holes on Friday. Started at 5:30 and just got in before it was too dark to see the ball. 1 blister on my foot that started on the back nine of the second 18 but got no worse and a very sore shoulder from coming off my bike last October other than that I felt pretty good just tired.
I've done a few 72's before but I'm thinking of going for the full 10 rounds solo next year as I think I'm just fit enough to do it now.

Cap doffed sir

I was well and truly destroyed after 72 last year. I thought I was reasonably fit but my calfs were totally burnt out after the 3rd round. I was moonwalking on the last 18 to avoid the pain.

Good effort mate, you must have a long course to do that distance! I did mine last week and it was just under 17 miles.

Well done, a great effort!

There were 11 chaps doing 72 holes for Macmillan at my place yesterday, I was impressed by their ability to down pints of lager before going out for the 4th round

Working in a physical job certainly helps as the first time we did the 72 challenge I was done for after 54 and really struggled for the last 18 but I was working in a garage sitting on my backside all day.

It's doable that's for sure it's just a matter of how I play it. Would have to start at sun up and just finish in daylight. Pencil bag and just a few clubs, balls, drink for each nine and keep cracking on. Almost looking forward to it to be honest.
