Lincolnshire Golf

My wife and I are considering moving (we have for a while) to Lincolnshire, probably the coastal area around Sutton-on_Sea or Louth/Alford. If we do I need to know about courses around there. Has anyone played Seacroft (think thats the name its in Skegness) or Louth?
I know Woodhall Spa is over that area but cant see they would let me in , and god knows what it would cost.

It depends on which type of golf you want to play.
For Parkland, I can highly reccommend http://www.kenwickparkgolf.co.uk/
Or if you prefer links golf, http://www.seacroft-golfclub.co.uk/ is a good test

Think I really fancy links - always feel drawn to a links course - must be because I am a land lubber
I have played Sandilands but found it a bit strange - a long narrow course - and very very featureless

I've played seacroft a couple of times not my favorite links due to some blind tee shots but a good course never the less. Always had a friendly welcome from the staff and members.

Woodall is not all that expensive to join we did ask last time we were there and was suprised that it was lower than my own club? so less than a grand at the time.

Hows Hazel Grove these days? years since I played there used to play it regularly
was a member at Marple for years.

People tend to use marple as a starter club - once they get "into" golf a little more they move on Romiley Mellor Hazel Grove Stockport etc.

Woodhall is still good value at well under a grand, and that's for two courses remember.
