Far from an expert, but in my experience, when the Internet Connection icon on your compooterator says "Limited" it could mean that you are connected to the Router, but that the Router isn't connected to the internet. I know it's probably a daft question, but have you tried turning the Router off then on again?

then dance round the router chanting ,then make a sacrifice to the gods, then cry,or find out what type of connection you have,is it cable or fibre optic, see what your fair usage is as you could be over it,or just hit it with a rolled up newspaper !!!!

Id agree with Bluewilf , thats the most likely explanation, Is anything else connecting through the router to the internet,? wifi on a phone? is that working?

simply pull the power lead out of the router , count to 10 and plug back in, then wait 5 minutes for it to reboot and reconnect
Fixed??

Internet connectivity issue here it seems, "Limited" status for your wired or wireless connection is working but access is local only and you are not getting the proper response from your ISP.

It could be your service is interrupted somehow or you just need to restart your router.

The common advice is to leave it off for 1-2 hours and turn it back on, I think this just buys the ISP a chance to fix any wider issues but it is a rule I have been using in the past (when access is not critical) and it has worked.

30 minutes has also worked many times, who knows why but it just has done (probably a multitude of different reasons and none ever the same).

I wish it was more scientific but its just "turn it off and on again" with a pause in the middle.
