Has anyone tried this? I'm seriously considering it, I know this sounds a very un-manly post but hey! Thought I'd ask anyway.

My other half tried it and it was horrible. She nearly passed out a fair few times.
She had a baby nearly 3 years ago now and put on lots of weight.
She started SlimmingWorld in October last year and has now lost 4 stone since then and that is still eating decent stuff and not starving herself.
I would suggest you get down to your local SlimmingWorld group or ChubbClub as she calls it..!!!!

My wife tried a similar thing, did some good at the time but once she finished the weight came back on. Lifestyle change is the only way (not preaching, I am a not exactly slim)

I have relatives that did this.

Does it work? Yes, you will lose weight. Mainly down to the fact you are starving yourself.

When you lose the weight you want and get back on proper food, it's nearly impossible to keep the weight off.

All diets are utterly rubbish. The only one that's worth doing is Slimming World because you can eat what you want (and as much as you want with alot of things) it just helps you moderate it. It takes longer to lose the weight but that's how it should be and it's more likely to stay off.

All these diets are complete tosh if you ask me. It ain't rocket science to loose weight or keep slim. Just eat well and healthy and do some exercise!

And walking to the local boozer ain't classed as exercise! ;)

Easier said than done tho'. Best "diet" for me is the Atkins. Shifted two stone without trying. All back on now tho'. Took three years to put it all back.

My Monster In Law is on it now and has lost 24lbs in 4 weeks but it costs £72 a week for all the potions and sachets.

I did Scottish Slimmers a few years back and lost 2st 2lb in 8 weeks but that was at a time I went to the gym 4 times a week.

Eat a bit less, burn a bit more and it will work out.

The mrs is constantly on one diet or another. But on Sunday she just kept stuffing roast potatoes in!! And then she announces that she's coming off the pill cause it's preventing her from losing weight! I don't get it.

She does look a lot better at the moment though. Bought a new dress for a wedding last week and it was a size 12. She was an 18 / 20. She's om some kind of strange pill to help lose weight.
