Lie angles

I had!

There's really no substitute for Lie Board and tape! So.....

No! At least not 'properly'!
You can use a piece of masking tape on the sole of the club .
If you have any decking in your garden you can replicate the test.
But I would suggest a pro will tell you in a minute.

no. my hands are too high at impact
Snap!

Was sent to get lies adjusted by someone, but could only get them done at a proper club fitter as it turned out (cos all the pros no longer had the machinery - we have subsequently got some).

The fitter went through procedures to establish the dynamic situation with a couple of irons and then explained why they were spot on for me and my swing - said to come back if I ever changed my swing...

According to a master club builder I've dealt with, the technique using a line drawn on the ball works just fine. He told me he does it that way nowadays because the tour pros he builds clubs for hit his lie boards so hard they were destroying them!
I've seen the Titleist fitters (the guys that actually work for Titleist) using the pen on the ball technique on YouTube. If it's good enough for them...
