£10 for half an hour with the assistant pro. I play with him for free as well.

Pro is £15 for half an hour.

I prefer the £10 option as it feels less formal, but thats probably my style preference as my mate prefers to go with the pro.

Both are happy to make you a brew and offer a choccy biscuit before or after the lesson too, so no complaints there!

doesn't go high enough!
assistants are £35/half hour, pro is £45
(though they are all fully qualified and have (one still does) play on pro tour)
so I go elsewhere at £18

£20 per half hour with the pro.

All well worth it. When I started playing again I had so many bad habits and lack of technique. He put me right in about 6 lessons and got me striking the ball well and actually 'playing' golf, instead of hit and hope

Our pro is £17 had one from him about 2 years ago nearly jacked it in after that in half an hour he changed my grip, alignment and ball position couldn't hit it for toffee after that the thing is he's one of our mates and didn't have the heart to tell him

Just had a lesson today with the Pro at my club. don't know what the costs are as it was a part of a gift from my wife.

A good hour session with 3 things to work on for the next week or so before I go back for more.

Gluttons for punishment we are :D

Am looking at them in the winter at the club where guys in the work are members ,he's just a young guy but comes highly recommended so we'll see.

Didn't have the heart to tell him what?

I think it is important to discuss what you are looking for during the lessons before you get onto the practice tee. The Pro, if he's any good, will give you some simple things to work on from each lesson. Only 2-3 small things to practice after each lesson. That way you don't get brain freeze and lose your game.

That he nearly humped my game because he teaches everyone the same . One of my mate got some from him and he changed his game he was of 24 at the time now 16 but when talking about it with him it was exactly what he tried with me.
I have since had a video lesson and the guy was really good as DCB said he gave me a drill to work on and i came down from 12 to 9 in 4 months just by working on it.
