I am looking at booking some lessons. Have seen a deal for 6 x 30min plus 1000 range balls for £125.

How much do you pay for your lessons. Is this good value. I want to book a batch at once with the same guy so he can get to know my swing.

To me you can only guage value if you lean and benefit from any form of lesson no matter what the cost. £10 for 2 hrs but gain nothing is of less value than £50 for 30 mins learning. In addition like anything practical you must practice what has been shown to you

Contact Scott Garrett at Irvine Bogside, he's got a decent reputation as a teacher and was doing a deal of something like 10 30 minute lessons for a one off payment of £100!

I pay 20 quid a lesson as and when a little over the norm but I have a good relationship with my pro, if ever I'm struggling with what we went through on the lesson or I'm have a rough time I can call him and if he's working on the range he'll give me ten minutes to it right.

I would just have 1 lesson with the pro to see if you learn from him before hand.

I think personal recommendation is the best way to know if you'll get value for money, whatever the cost. I would also try to speak to the pro before commiting to lessons, see if you can communicate well and feel comfortable in their company. Also, don't feel you have to use one pro for all aspects of the game, some pros are good at or specialise in teaching different aspects such as; putting, full swing, etc...

I payed £20 a lesson and worth every penny. And the Pro said that if he was around at any time I was practicing I could ask his advice for free Good Man
