Lessons... do my head in

Nice website by the way... Belfry is roughly 5 minutes from my home so my dream is to grace the famous course.

Can I ask does anyone recommend a set time between lessons and practise. I have brought a package through a local pro for my next four lessons and I have pencilled them in for two weeks apart. I aim to practise maybe 6 hours inbetween hopefully more. Is this too long between would you say? I am getting down the range every other night at the moment.

I'd say that's about right, especially if you're putting in that amount of practice in between

It depends how quickly you progress I guess. I'm having a lesson every 4 weeks ish, but am practicing for an hour minimum every day. That said, the changes I am trying to make are horrendous, and are taking ages to bed in. Promising progress, but a long long way to go.

For you, it may be very different.

Wow an hour's practice every day is really impressive. I admire your dedication. Hope it pays off.

Ha, I am the same though - I try and sneak off at any opportunity... Sometimes I even tell her im going the shop so she doesnt have too!

At the moment my aim is to be good enough to hold my own and get a decent score on my cards. Im sure the better I get the better I will want to be but seeing as I was a complete newbie last year I am hooked.
