I don't agree that Westwood bottled it either.
I was marshalling at the Open on the 18th on Sunday and that bunker shot was awesome, especially under pressure. We went and looked at the bunker afterwards and couldn't believe he'd managed to get it on the green.
Regarding the putt, I don't know how the TV showed it but he backed off it originally when there was a massive roar as Watson's ball hit the fairway, Lee looked straight back up the hole and had to assume that he would make par from there. He got back over the putt and the rest is history. For me bottling it at that point would've been leaving it 6 feet short, he went for it and now has to suffer the consequences of Watson's bogey. Fair play to him for having a go.
He will win one at some stage but I think it will be a US Open or USPGA where his driving is paramount.
