Played it a number of years ago.

From what i remember the drainage was pretty poor as it is an island in the Tay. Seem to remember that they used to have flooding problems at the far end during the winter. Could be bad just now. Course itself was quite nice though. Rough was real heavy as it was wet. Try to stick to the short stuff

Parking is a complete nightmare as you are close to the town centre and the area has parking meters all over the place.

I was there as an outing from my old club. I played crap and we had been drinking all day afterwards. On walking over the railway bridge back to the bus I took my driver out my bag and chucked it into the Tay below

Park at the South Inch Car Park - I think its free on a Sunday? else if Saturday, £2 / £2.50 will cover you for the time you need.

If you know the area there are parts just off the Dundee road side you can park at for nout.

Course is nice but I suspect will be rather damp down the bottom end of the course. Make sure to take spare socks!!

The rough, whilst not long by any stretch of imagination is tough as the ball sits down in what there is, otherwise it is a well presented course with some interesting holes.

Most of the holes are short enough that you can play iron / hybrid off the tee for position although there are a few holes, 4, 8 and 16 where all the distance you can get off the tee will help. Especially the 4th - a long par 4.

At least you didn't throw the bag in - that would have just been silly :p
