killin opening day

yesterday was the opening day at killin and it was mixed foursomes over 18

tbh it wasn't too bad and it's only a bit of fun,but by heck i've never played from so many places i have never been before....the best one was a shot she played from just off the green.she managed to hit the ball nowhere except 2" into the ground.....completely plugged:lol:

i shouldn't laugh but it was funny:rofl:

anyway,the season has now officially started and to make matters even better i decided to join callander so i'll have my usual 3 medals per week in the height of the season and if i want to i could play the saturday medal at balfron taking it to 4 but i think that might be a bit too much,the missus might actually bugger off and leave me......wait a minute,that's a belter of a plan:lol:

so this saturday coming will be my first proper comp of the year,the 36 hole strokeplay @ callander and i'm hoping for some good things.the css should go up as most of the players are low handicap players and most of them don't bother playing over the winter so they should shoot over their handicap's.....that might not happen but i'm expecting it.so my goal is to get cut.

That's an early start to the season up there Wull. We have our Captains vs Vice-Captains match next week which is our season opener. Again it's a social event, a bit of fun to get the season underway. The real stuff starts the following weekend

it was re-scheduled from the tail end of last season......

if it wasn't for that it would be the following week for the comps.
