Kevin Peitersen - TalkSport Interview

So you choose to believe the people he has criticised rather than a neutral in the issue such as Vaughan? Your choice I guess

How would Vaughan know what went on as opposed to the people effected ?

Not gonna force feed you, read the book and Vaughans comments if you want a full view on Moores, the fact this guy is back in control now is utterly laughable. As for how would Vaughan know, he was still very close to the set up and those involved, not to mention Moores being the reason he quite himself

Cooks interview has more errs and erms in it than any content, and not surprisingly cant refute most of what has been said, just generics from Cook, keep towing that ECB line lol

I really can't believe that anyone can blame the ECB for the way that KP has conducted himself. I don't blame them for releasing the dossier on him. He is an egotistical and arrogant arse who thinks that the world revolves around him and finally he has rightly been kicked out of the England setup and, I hope, never to return!

Stop sitting on the fence Chris and say what you really mean!

Of course, it doesn't alter the fact that ECB has (had) an image problem over competency, like many other National sporting bodies (Athletics, FA, LTA, RFU and orobably many more. It seems to me that it would be of benefit for some sort of 'health check' to be commissioned or performed by UK Sport as part of the 'funding' process. They, of course, are body that needs that sort of check too!

Are you referring to the supposed dossier that was leaked to the press earlier this week that the ECB have since denied was actually "the dossier"?

The thing that has surprised me most is that if the ECB had valid reasons for getting rid of him why haven't they defended themselves against what he has said in the book. Now that the gagging order or non disclosure agreement or whatever it was has expired why haven't they put their side of the story forward? It just lets the pro Pietersen brigade bang on about it and the suggestions that he got punted for whistling or looking out of the window.

Yes I was referring to that dossier

I get the feeling that most of the people involved are keeping fairly quiet in the hope that the media circus dies down and in the future the likes of Matt Prior will counter the allegations in their own books

Yes be arrogant - but allow yourself space to work in a team - please read the chapter headings in his book - it just screams self self self.

Why read the chapter headings when the juicy info is in the book! And it's an autobiography so gonna be self self self...:smirk:

Looking forward to Matt Priors book. :D
