kevin na

Apparently his groups round yesterday was 17 minutes quicker then Tiger Woods group. Maybe we should be talking about that?

Think for him to even be out there is amazing, to be trying to deal with it infront of everyone and play some beautifully most of the time.

Good luck to him.

The only penalty that would work was to give strokes, the money wouldn't matter. If you were to say from arriving at the ball to pulling the trigger there were allowed 45 seconds, for every second over they get a stroke you could pretty much guarantee they would all hit it well in time.

There is no need for slow play, and it is worse that many amateurs copy there idols and amble round the course and take 'all' day to play a shot.

I think 4 hours for a 4 balls is ok, anything more is getting a joke unless the weather is very bad and wind pushing many shots off course so time to find them.

For kevin Na yes the problem is in his head, but so was Keegan Bradleys spitting and he took all of a day to get onto it.

Possibly the most stupid post I've ever read on this forum....................................some people, they just haven't got a clue.

Slime.

The Sky commentators said in the build up if he gets pulled twice today there would be a penalty shot after the second incident. I think he's a ticking timebomb waiting to go off and sooner or later he'll freeze over the shot and won't get the club back at all. That or he'll yip it and it could go anywhere. I've heard it said he has few friends on tour and a lot of the pros don't like him and I can't stand him. I'd hate to be in the same group as it must impact your own game no matter how you try and block it out and focus on your own game.

I feel like there is a lot of negativity towards the US PGA tour based players and coverage more often than not on this Forum and while some of it is justified and I agree with it ie Faldo. I feel that the European Tour can be guilty of worse flaws and for the sheer pressure that these players are under they deserve to be cut some slack. Each tee shot that Na hits could be worth more than what some people would earn in a few working years never mind the other shots/putts.

I hate to say this about anyone, but im glad Na didnt win
There is just something about him that winds me up

Im obviously a flawed human being

Not really, he is hard to like, but he didn't deserve to be heckled by the crowd. The crowds in America are becoming more and more like football crowds by the week. I actually though that it was a fantastic tournament, with a deserving winner, and some great golf. Na's problems appear to be detracting from it, which is a shame...

Oh, and i'm quickly becoming Rickie's biggest fan, I think I have an orange crush...

But Landog all of these guys are millionaires already. Them losing $50,000 dollars off one tee shot is the equivalent of me misplacing a fiver. Don't accept that as an excuse. It doesn't seem to bother the other players anywhere near as much as Na.

if he can't handle the pressure he shouldn't be out there.

Ricky is awesome, and I agree about the crowds. Did you see the bit in the build up last night where the players were being questioned about the crowds? All of them voiced their hate for the "Get in the hole" morons. Poults was especially harsh, made me laugh.

Apparently, I haven't got a clue then as I agree with the basic premise of Stevelev's post. Slow play is a major problem in golf and the time the pros take to get round a course is a primary cause. The weekend amateur imitates the tour player and takes far too long to play a shot in a high percentage of cases.

To stop the pros taking so long, penalty shots have to be the way as the fines are meaningless unless you remove 33% of their week's earnings per penalty or something of that order.

As to your assertion that Stevelev's post is possibly the most stupid you have read on here? If so, you haven't read many! Check out some of Dodger's for a start. Or re-read your own back catalogue of utter drivel....

Ironically, your post is far more stupid than the one you are commenting on so thanks for that, made me smile on on sunny Monday morning. As you say, some people, they just haven't got a clue.

Don't panic..... the European tour is dull/drab/boring, the venues are bland and the players have no personality and i'm sure they pay the same 7 spectators to be at each event!

The US tour (and coverage) ROCKS! in comparison.
