Noticed last night rose was using a longer putter not belly length just longer say 38 -40 inches seem fair a bit of shaft above his hands. The new TM daddy long legs offers weighted grip for stability poss be that shaft in a bladed putter may be the new craze. :thup:

You're dead right, supposed to help create a smoother stroke due to the added weight.

The idea isn't all that new as Cabrera did it when he won the masters.

It's a spider blade. Same principle as the daddy long legs but smaller head. I want one!!

He was a great putter, why change...

Maybe he tested it and found it better than his old one .... After all why else would he change to it ? You really can't believe he would change equipment just on a whim. He's been playing great golf, and has come upto a major, the only reason for change would be that its an improvement.

Its taylormade though!!!

I have tried the daddy long legs, and in my opinion the theory works, very pendulum like in its feel, i am yet to try the spider blade and i dont really want to as i am currently happy with my putter!!! but i know if i try one, i will want it!!

I know....I know, tried the Daddy Long Legs and it's a cracking putter, the only negative is the size of the head. I reckon a spider blade will be right up my street :thup:

Exactly why i didnt like the DLL! the lethal bawl is good! i will convert you one day! just wait till you have a go with the R1!
