Just wondered why......

As it happens, I'm as Scottish as anyone else on here, just happen to now live in England. But I've never felt the need or desire to start posting in a regional dialect.

To be brutally honest, Potteries (Stoke-on-Trent area) dialect is, to 90% of the people I speak to is jibberish :mad:

As I worked in Cannock for two years I read the cartoon with the locals speaking it in my ear. Easy.

When I first moved to Bristol I started to go to watch Bristol RFU club at the Memorial Ground - it took me a while to work out who the Aussie (going by the name of Bruce) playing for Bristol was - d-oh!
