so do I, but its usually down to the grammar, spelling or punctuation, never the dialect.

To be brutally honest, Potteries (Stoke-on-Trent area) dialect is, to 90% of the people I speak to is jibberish

i'm all for people speaking in their regional tongue but the WELSH take it a step too far,having played in a lot of welsh courses the biggest gripe is when they speak perfect english then when they hear your english accent they revert to speaking welsh!!! played a comp once were the lad i was playing against and his caddy ONLY spoke in welsh for the full 18 holes.
